Shipping & Returns


We are able to ship anywhere within the contiguous 48 United States. 

The majority of the items listed on our website ship for free, though there are a few exceptions to this rule for larger furniture pieces. If shipping is not included in an item, it will be noted in the product description and shipping will be calculated at checkout.  

Small parcel items will ship via FedEx or UPS.  

Most larger furniture items will be a threshold delivery. Threshold delivery will go to the front door of the residential building – delivery company will not be able to enter the home to bring furniture in.    

Our high-end sleeper sofas – Elevate, Elfin, Nico, Erika, and Noah – include complimentary white-glove delivery and light assembly in the room of your choice up to a maximum of 2 flights of stairs.  

All larger furniture items must be inspected upon delivery and provide a signature upon receipt. A bill of lading must be signed and serves as confirmation that the order has been inspected and approved. Any damage discovered must be noted on the bill of lading. All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. 


All HomePlace Furniture & Design online orders are final, non-returnable and non-refundable once they have been shipped from the manufacturer. Under extenuating circumstances, HomePlace may consider accepting a return if the customer reaches out within 48 hours of accepting a delivery.  

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure items will fit inside entry points upon delivery of the item. HomePlace Furniture & Design will not be held responsible if the piece does not fit in the buyer’s home. If this situation occurs, customers are subject to a 20% restocking fee for the returned item pending approval from HomePlace Furniture & Design, in addition to any return shipping costs. If a return is approved, furniture must be in its original packaging.
